"One night I was sat in a dark pub with some close friends.  I looked around and realised that this same group had been meeting up in similar bars for birthdays, anniversaries and gatherings for over ten years.  This got me thinking, would we still be doing this in ten years time? What about twenty or fifty?  Will we look different and will we notice the changes in each other or see ourselves the way that we are now?  These thoughts gave me an idea and First Date was born."
